What is recycle in the jewelry industry, sure it is not melting all this pieces of wire, metal sheet and all the surplus of metals after i make a new piece, that is self-evident that i will melt them again and make new materials out of it, wire for example. So, how does jewellery recycle work? The process starts with collecting old or unused jewellery. These pieces are then carefully sorted and evaluated. Metals like gold and silver are melted down and purified. This recycled material is then used to create new, stunning pieces of jewelry. Did you know the difference between the both process? Is recycled of precious metals ethical and sustainable? It is ethical and sustainable; the process of recycling precious metals uses far fewer chemicals than mining, and it does so in a controlled fashion that avoids any negative environmental issues.
