Five E Jewelry
Michel Flores is a goldsmith and jewelry designer based in Berlin, Germany. He is the human behind Five E Jewelry, a Berlin jewelry label that was founded out of a desire for a slow and conscious approach to producing jewelry by hand. Each piece is crafted with an awareness of the time required for every step of the production process, using high-quality materials such as recycled gold and fair mined silver.
Flores was born and raised in Puebla, Mexico. At 24, he left his hometown to pursue his dream of traveling the world and selling his handmade jewelry. During his travels to over 20 countries, including Peru, Costa Rica, and Morocco, Flores learned ancient goldsmith techniques from master artisans.
At 27, he decided to attend a goldsmith and art school in Bavaria, Germany, where he perfected his jewelry making skills.
In his 30s, he moved to Berlin and worked for various goldsmith companies, where he further honed his skills in producing luxury jewelry.
Today, Michel Flores works as a freelance jeweller through his own brand, where he combines classic techniques with his unique style.
He also provides workshops and teaches the amazing and unique art of gold smithing.
